Fungal skin infections

Many common fungal skin infections, such as tinea pedis (athlete’s foot), tinea corporis (ringworm), and tinea cruris (jock itch), can be treated with self-care measures. Self-treatment goals are to provide symptomatic relief of itching, burning, and other discomfort; inhibit the growth of fungi and cure the disorder; and prevent recurrent infections. You can help patients identify the specific issue and select the most appropriate topical antifungal product to cure their fungal infection.
